KARACHI, FEB 18 (ONLINE): Electricity tariff is likely to be scaled down by Rs 4.95 per unit for consumers of Karachi.
K-Electric has filed application in National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) in this regard.
In the event of acceptance of this plea, relief of Rs 4.94 billion will be afforded to consumers .
The application seeking reduction in power tariff has been filed under head of Fuel Price Adjustment.
NEPRA will hear K-Electric plea on February 26.
NEPRA will give final decision after hearing application.
