Zardari once again active to save Provincial Assembly

Islamabad, Nov 30 (Online): Former President Asif Zardari has once again become politically active in order to save the Punjab Assembly (PA) and for giving a tough time to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at the Centre.

According to sources, Asif Ali Zardari has issued important instructions to Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf regarding accepting more resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members.

On the other hand, a high-level delegation of Muslim League-Nawaz also met former President Asif Zardari.

This delegation included senior federal ministers, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Ayaz Sadiq.

Meeting was held at Zardari House, various issues and options were discussed regarding the future of Punjab Assembly and bringing a no-confidence motion against Parvez Elahi.
According to the sources, in this meeting, it was decided to bring the corruption of the Punjab government to the public.

The details of what happened in Punjab during the tenure of former Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will also be brought to the public, while Asif Zardari will use all his political experience and option to save the Punjab Assembly.

The (N) League has already trusted him in this regard. Asif Zardari has assured that he will play his full role to save the Punjab Assembly from dissolution.

On the other hand, he has also issued some instructions to Raja Pervez Ashraf regarding accepting the resignations of members of Tehreek-e-Insaf in the National Assembly.

Sources said that in the next few days, an important decision will be made regarding the change of the Punjab government and the no-confidence motion, in which Asif Zardari will play the main role.
