US Ambassador Donald Bloom met with PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif in Jati Amra

Lahore Nov 18 (Online): US Ambassador Donald Bloom met Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Nawaz Sharif at Jati Amra on Saturday.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the political and economic situation of Pakistan and the preparations for the general elections, and also discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States and cooperation in various fields.

On this occasion, Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of relations between Pakistan and America. According to the spokesperson of Muslim League (N), Nawaz Sharif referred to his meetings with various American leaders and said that all American leaders recognize the importance of relations between Pakistan and the United States. He expressed confidence that the people of Pakistan will once again give the Muslim League (N) a leadership role and have full confidence in getting the country out of innumerable problems and crises.

The leaders in the meeting acknowledged the importance of strong and stable partnership between the two countries. He recognized the importance of exploring new opportunities for cooperation and building on the achievements of the strong and active bilateral relations between the United States and Pakistan.

The US ambassador and Nawaz Sharif also discussed various topics of mutual interest including trade, economy, climate change, security and regional stability. Regarding the Palestine issue, Nawaz Sharif discussed the issue of merciless martyrdom of innocent Palestinians as a result of Israeli indiscriminate bombing. Highlighted and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
