Islamabad Nov 18 (Online): Election Commission (EC) has decided to extend date for Visa applications of foreign observers by 1 month and sent the letter to Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to letter, the Visa extension date for foreign observers has been changed to December 15 instead of November 15.
The decision of extension in date of visa applications was taken on action plan in Ministerial meeting.
The purpose of this initiative on behalf of the Election Commission is to provide more opportunities to foreign observers to visit Pakistan.
According to sources, it is said in letter that Foreign Ministry can contact with mission abroad till December 15.
Invitation card has been issued to foreign observers by Election Commission.
The foreigners have to submit the data on Pakistan online portal of Foreign Ministry for quick visa acquisition.
Election Commission has announced to hold general elections on February 8.
