ISLAMABAD, Aug 26 (Online): The sessions court while rejecting police plea for adjourning the hearing of sedition case against Shahbaz Gill till Monday has directed police to present the record today (Saturday).
The bail plea of Shahbaz Gill came up for hearing before additional sessions judge Tahir Abbas Sipra Friday.
Despite court orders Police did not submit the record in sedition case. The court expressed displeasure over it.
The police told the court that the investigation officer of the case has gone to Karachi to arrest the co-accused. He will be able to return on Saturday.
The court inquired from the counsel for Shahbaz Gill can they give air ticket to investigation officer for his return from Karachi .
Faisal Chaudhry counsel for Shahbaz Gill said that they are ready to give air ticket to investigation officer.
The court rejected police plea for adjourning the hearing of the case till Monday.
The court ordered police to submit the record of Shahbaz Gill case today (Saturday) at every cost.
The court ordered the police if the record was not provided today (Saturday) then it would become problem for officers.
