Rawalpindi (ONLINE) Jan 10 – Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in general area Maddi, Dera Ismail Khan District on reported presence of khawarij. In which five militants, including the group’s leader, Shafiullah (also known as Shafi), were killed.
During the operation, Large number of Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed khawarij, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.
A comprehensive sanitization operation is underway to wipe-out any remaining militants in the area. Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eradicating terrorism from the country, ensuring the safety and security of its citizens.
