ISLAMABAD. November 11 (ONLINE): Supreme Court (SC) has fixed appeal plea for hearing against capital punishment of former president Pervez Musharraf on November 21.
The SC has issued written order for hearing of appeal plea against sentence of former president Pervez Musharraf.
It has been said in the written order non fixing the appeal for hearing after lapse of 3 years and 8 months is unfortunate. The loss of not taking the step timely by the court should not go to any petitioner. The appeal against the objections was not fixed for hearing despite chamber orders and the petitioner passed away.
The appeal plea of Pervez Musharraf against registrar objections is accepted.
According to Suleman Safdar counsel for Pervez Musharraf he is in contact with widow and children of Pervez Musharraf.
According to counsel he will get directives from family of former president on fixation of appeal.
