LAHORE – January 8 (ONLINE) Jamat-e-Islami emir Siraj-ul-Haq said Sunday country’s rulers were not ready to change their lifestyle and to quit their perks and protocol.
“The whole world is celebrating New Year and Pakistanis are downtrodden with woes,” Siraj said while addressing a workers’ convention in Allama Iqbal town.
“Long queues for flour, youth leaving country in massive numbers, traders are worried and people have turned into living dead bodies,” he regretted.
“PDM, PPP and PTI troika has turned Pakistan to a graveyard. Judges, Generals, politicians and bureaucrats have become billionaires and the laymen are striving for food,” he lamented.
“People have lost their ration and the government is still asking them to sacrifice. When will the billionaire elite sacrifice their resources for country?” Siraj asked.
