Rise in prices of petroleum products is in fact an economic murder of the people, says Bilawal Bhutto

Islamabad-January 16 (Online): PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has criticized the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for increasing the price of petrol by Rs 3 per liter, calling it an economic murder of the people.

Bilawal Bhutto said that after the increase in electricity prices by more than Rs. 4, now the increase in prices of petroleum products is in fact an economic murder of the people.

He said that after gas and electricity, now the increase in petrol prices is a robbery on the pockets of the people.

He said that Imran Khan had mortgaged the country to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and now all decisions regarding Pakistan were being taken abroad.

Chairman PPP further said that petrol is expensive, electricity is expensive, gas is expensive, people’s patience should not be tested further and now the long march of PPP is to save the people from the same inflation and economic crisis.

He said that if inflation and unemployment were to be eradicated, it was necessary to get rid of Imran Khan’s government for which the people would leave for Islamabad on February 27 and hold the Prime Minister responsible for inflation.
