Ramadan relief package launched at Utility stores

ISLAMABAD, March 21 (Online): Ramadan relief package has been launched in Utility stores under which subsidy are being provided on 19 goods.

According to authorities of utility stores, upcoming Ramadan Relief package will be of 5 billion Rupees. The Ramadan Relief package has been divided in targeted and non targeted subsidy.

Items will be available to Pakistanis that are associated to BISP on subsidized.

10kg Flour bag of price 400 rupees will be available to card holders of Benazir Income Support Program.

1kg sugar will be provided at the cost of rupees 70. 1kg packet of cooking oil will be available at the cost of rupees 300.

According to authorities of utility store, 10kg flour bag will be sold out at the rate of Rs 648 , 1kg sugar will be available at the cost of rupees 91 whereas 1 litre oil packet will be sold at the rate of Rs 490.

Other goods including 1kg rice will be sold at the rate lower than market rate by 20 rupees, cooking oil by 25 rupees, pulses by 20 rupees.

Tea per kg will be provided at subsidized rate lower than 100 rupees from market rate.

Milk will be available at lower cost per liter than market.
Gram flour and dates will be available at low price of rupees 50 per kg.
