LAHORE – January 8 (ONLINE) Former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has been invited by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) to join either party, local media reported Sunday.
Private media channel while citing sources reported that PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujat had a meeting with former PTI stalwart.
Reacting to these reports, Sarwar however said consultations regarding his political future were underway. He confirmed meeting Shujat and said the country’s overall political situation was discussed in the meeting.
In his statement, according to the media report, Sarwar also confirmed his meeting with former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
