Possible arrest of Imran during Eid holidays: Federation, police, FIA put on notice

ISLAMABAD, APRIL 20 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to federation, police and FIA and sought reply from them till April 27 on the petition filed by chairman PTI Imran Khan for linking his possible arrest during Eid days to prior permission from court.

The court has barred the respondents from harassing Imran Khan during this period.

The petition filed by Imran Khan came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Amir Farooq Thursday.

Faisal Chaudhry advocate counsel for petitioner appeared in the court.
He took the plea Siraj ul Haq came to Zaman Park for negotiations and this way a good attempt was made. On next morning we saw PTI Sindh president was lifted.

The CJ IHC remarked it is obvious this incident created bad taste.

Faisal Chaudhry advocate said we fear they will conduct some operation too during the Eid holidays.

The CJ IHC remarked “I can summon the details of cases. How can I issue blank order?

The counsel for Imran Khan requested the court to keep pending the petition after Eid.

The court accepted the plea besides announcing the order for not harassing Imran Khan. .
