ISLAMABAD, June 06 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has sought cooperation from the provinces in National Flood Response Program (NFRP) in the meeting of National Economic Council (NEC).
The provinces informed the PM about their proposals in connection with development budget.
The meeting was informed about the overall development projects in details.
PM directed the respective authorities and finance ministry to implement the proposals.
The PM directed the provincial governments to keep a watchful eye on hoarders and those involved in overcharging.
He said plan is being evolved for farmers.
The PM also directed to provide enormous relief to the people by utilizing the available resources in the best way.
Addressing the NEC meeting PM said problems and resources have been placed before the provinces. Development, public welfare and business friendly policies are hub of the budget for the financial year 2023-24. GDP growth rate and opportunities for employment will be enhanced in the next financial year.
We are enhancing PSDP volume from Rs 700 billion to Rs 900 billion.
