Islamabad, Sep 16 (Online): Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary after the increase in petroleum prices said that the prices of oil in Pakistan are still the lowest in the region.
In his statement, he said that whether we should have dug wells of oil in last three years otherwise it is obvious that if oil would be imported, the prices will rise. The same principle applies to other imports as well, he added
He quoted that considerable increase in the income of 75% of the population is a success and that Pakistan’ s purchasing power is much better than India.
Fawad said that despite problems of salaried people, 60 percent population is attached with agriculture and they have earned additional income of 1100 billion rupees,.
He has claimed that the income of millions of people affiliated to construction and industry has also gone up and daily wages of masons and laborers also increased three fold. .
