Nearly 8000 MW electricity shortfall in country

ISLAMABAD – July 04 (ONLINE) Electricity’s shortfall has reached heavenly 8000 Mega Watts, it emerged Monday.

Owing to the shortfall, extended electricity load shedding is contentiously irking masses.

Sources from Power Division told Online that total current production of electricity is 21081 MWs while total demand is 29000 MWs.

Most parts of country are experiencing unbearable 14 hours long load shedding, while it may vary in areas with losses in electricity supply lines.
