LAHORE, March 29 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended till April 6 its orders against de-notifying PTI Members of National Assembly (MNA).
The petition from PTI MNAs against acceptance of their resignation came up for hearing before a single bench of LHC led by Justice Shahid Karim Wednesday.
The petitioners took the plea in the petition that they had withdrawn their resignations before their acceptance. The resignations were accepted against the rules set by Supreme Court (SC).
The petitioners further said speaker National Assembly (NA) accepted their resignations for subjecting them to political vendetta.
It has been requested in the petition the court should nullify the notifications of the speaker NA and the election commission.
The court extended its orders against de-notifying PTI MNAs till April 06.
