LHC allows to keep markets open till 12 midnight during Ramazan

LAHORE, March 20 (Online): The court has allowed to keep markets open till 12 midnight during the holy month of Ramadan
Lahore High Court (LHC) issued written order on the petitions related to anti smog measures Wednesday.
Justice Shahid Karim of LHC issued 3-page written order of the hearing of the case.

In the written order court allowed the markets to remain open till 12 midnight during holy month of Ramadan. On Saturday and Sunday the markets will remain open till 1 a.m . This schedule of timings for keeping markets open is only meant for Ramadan.

The court has said in its written order PDMA department presented syllabus related to environment for school children in the court. Several brick kilns have been shifted to zigzag technology in Punjab,

The court sought report about tanneries in Kasur.

It has been further said in the order that directives have been issued to find permanent solution in regard to Tolinton market problem.
The court also sought report regarding Tolinton market.
