Islamabad-January 21 (Online): Law Ministry has submitted summary to President of Pakistan for appointment of Justice Ayesha Malik in Supreme Court.
After the approval of President, Ministry of Law shall issue formal notification of the appointment of Justice Ayesha Malik as Judge in Supreme Court of Pakistan.
It is to be clear that Judicial Commission of Pakistan suggested the appointment of Justice Ayesha Malik in Supreme Court against the post which was vacant due to retirement of Senior Judge Musheer Alam.
Now, Law Ministry has submitted summary for obtaining final approval from President for appointment against the said vacant post. After this, notification for appointment of Justice Ayesha Malik is expected soon.
