Islamabad-January 21 (Online): Federal Education Ministry has started nationwide Omicron Awareness Campaign today by sending SMS to students, teachers and parents.
The campaign was started on the instructions of Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood.
In first phase, Ministry shall ensure delivery of SMS to 12 million subscribers of Telecom Company Jazz through their cooperation.
Awareness campaign is starting from Islamabad while in second phase it will extend to whole country with the collaboration of other telecom companies.
Ministry of Education and professional training communicated preventive measures like washing hands after continuous intervals, wearing mask, social distancing, avoiding busy places and motivation for vaccination of kids having 12 years of age or more through this awareness message.
The objective of this awareness campaign is to create awareness besides continuing educational activities in this difficult time.
