Imran’s political agenda to defame Pakistan at international level: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (APP):The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that Imran’s political agenda is to defame Pakistan at international level by spreading baseless rumors, aimed at to give impression that country is going to be default.

He expressed these views while talking to a private TV channel on Thursday.

He said that IK’s political track record is based on Dharna politics and negative propaganda.

By holding Dharna, he (Khan) halted Chinese President Visit to Pakistan for six months that delayed the CPEC project agreement.

The Federal Minister informed that international conference is being held under the aegis of UN on January 9, 2023 in Geneva regarding the flood effected people of Pakistan but IK was giving wrong signals to international community through his negative propaganda.

PTI leadership should take lesson from LG polls of Azad Kashmir where it got 30% seats that was the tailor for PTI in forthcoming general elections to be held in the country, Ahsan observed.

Federal Minister alleged that foreign donors of PTI are funding to PTI to destabilizing Pakistan and it has created an environment of default in the country through rumors against our government and termed it malicious approach of PTI towards national interest.

He asserted that if PTI dissolved its provincial government in Punjab and KPK then it will witness defeat from both the provinces. To a question, he said that the pressure which one could see in the market because our government give a big chunk to IMF in shape of installments and following the IMF agreements including the agreements of PTI government by fulfilling its conditions accordingly, he said.

The Federal Minister said we are making decision in the favor of national interest and saying that approving the resignations of PTI members was the prerogative of the Speaker and they should go for that as it is in our interest and the provincial shield which IK use will lose as well, Ahsan concluded.
