ISLAMABAD, JAN 31 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) while wrapping up Imran Khan petition for provision of facilities in jail has directed to extend facilities to him according to jail rules.
Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq issued a 3-page written decision in the case for provision of facilities in jail to Imran Khan, arranging his meeting with his wife Bushra Bibi and his telephonic talks with his sons .
Faisal Chaudhry advocate appeared in the court on behalf of Imran Khan.
The written order said according to superintendent jail medical check up of Imran Khan is conducted on permanent basis., In the event of complaint, medical check up can be got conducted by a private doctor through proper arrangement.
Jail authorities said facility for making international call is not available as per jail manual. Facility for overseas call is only provided on the orders of court.
According to superintendent Adiala jail meeting of his lawyers and family with PTI founder is arranged on Tuesday and Thursday. As per jail rules two news papers are provided to PTI founder according to his choice.
As per schedule meeting of Bushra Bibi with PTI founder is arranged on Thursday. Whenever courts have issued whatever orders regarding provision of facilities have been implemented. PTI founder is getting due facilities and his counsel is also satisfied over it;
It was said in the decision counsel for PTI founder is satisfied over provision of jail facilities, therefore, there is no need to interfere.
PTI founder petition regarding provision of jail facilities is wrapped up with directives.
According to jail rules the due facilities be provided to PTI founder in jail.
As per court’s order counsel for PTI founder expressed satisfaction over jail facilities.
