ISLAMABAD, Jan 06 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the police to recover the allegedly kidnapped girl till January 12.
The court accepted IG Islamabad plea for giving more time for recovery of the abducted girl.
The case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz Friday.
The court while expressing displeasure over state counsel for reaching the court late remarked fine will be imposed on state counsel if such attitude is adopted in future.
IG Islamabad told the court investigation officer is in Karachi to arrest the prime accused.
The court inquired do you not know the missing girl is in what part of the country.
IG told the court search of the girl is underway. The court should give time. There are social aspects of this case too. But it will not seem appropriate to say such thing at my level.
The court remarked “ you are saying the girl had any connection with this man.
IG told the court “ I am not saying so that the girl had any relation or otherwise. This thing is of no importance.
The court inquired the question is this the girl is in what areas of Pakistan at present.
IG Islamabad told the court possibility is there that the girl may be with the accused. Give us time. We will give result. The police had reached close to the accused last night but he escaped.
The court while ordering to present the abducted girl till January 12 adjourned the hearing of the case.
