IHC allows media to report court’s proceedings of 190 million pounds reference in transparent manner

ISLAMABAD, May 21 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has allowed the media to report the court’s proceedings of 190 million pounds reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in transparent manner.IHC issued the written order on the petition against ban on media in reporting 190 million pounds reference against PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi.

The order was issued by Justice Chief Justice (CJ) IHC, Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri Tuesday. it was told in the order that notices are issued to the respondents on the petition and media is allowed to report court’s proceedings in transparent manner.It is pertinent to mention here that PTI founder Imran Khan had filed petition last week against imposition of ban on media in reporting 190 million pounds reference.

In Al-Qadir trust case it has been alleged that PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi got million of rupees and hundreds of kanals land from Bahria Town Limited in return for giving legal shape to Rs 50 billion sent by National Crime Agency (NCA) of UK during PTI government.

This case is related to illegal acquisition of land for Al-Qadir university and its construction.
Illegal benefit was got in recovery of 140 million pounds through National Crime Agency (NCA) in money laundering case against Malik Riaz and his family.

Imran Khan has also been alleged in this case that he concealed the facts about agreement and misled the cabinet in this regard.
