LAHORE – January 4 (ONLINE) An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 hit various cities of Punjab Wednesday including Lahore, the metrological department said.
According to metrological department, earthquake’s magnitude on Richter scale was recorded at 4.1 with the depth of five kilometres. The epicentre of the earthquake was recorded 34 km west of Lahore and 12 km west of
Sheikhupura, according to the met office.
No damages have been reported across province, media reported, adding that Tremors were also felt in certain parts of neighbouring India.
The earthquake created panic among masses as people came out of their houses reciting Kalima Tayyaba.
