Court adjourns hearing of bail pleas of PTI founder in six cases, Bushra Bibi in one case

ISLAMABAD, May 22 (ONLINE): District Sessions Court Islamabad has adjourned till June 04 hearing of bail pleas of PTI founder Imran Khan in 6 cases and his wife Bushra Bibi in one case.The hearing has been adjourned on the request of counsels of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. The case was heard by Additional and district session judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka Wednesday.

The counsels during the hearing of the case argued today there is hearing of 190 million pounds case and cipher case. Therefore, the hearing of the case be adjourned. The court remarked that ” I was wanting to give lengthy date on previous hearing too but your lawyers got date fixed on May 22.

The defence counsel told the court we were guessing cipher case will come to end but it stands adjourned till May 22. On the previous hearing Adiala jail administration had requested that video link system is coming from Hari Pur. Now that system has come. Due to it the Adiala jail administration be directed to ensure attendance of PTI founder through video link.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 4.

It is pertinent to mention here the court had summoned arguments on May 16 on the petition of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
District and Sessions Court Islamabad had issued production order of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on their bail pleas.

The court had ordered jail superintendent Adiala to produce Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on April 04.
