Concrete measures taken to facilitate youth: Shaza

ISLAMABAD – January 31 (ONLINE) Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Shaza Fatima Khawaja said Tuesday youth is our government’s main focus and we are taking concrete measures to facilitate them.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Commonwealth year of youth, Shaza said keeping in mind the needs and priorities of youth, we have started a number of projects under Prime Minister Youth Program.

The Special Assistant said Prime Minister Youth Program is a significant and all-encompassing intervention to empower youth and enable them to fully realize their potential.

While presenting the information regarding the program, she said a digital youth hub is being designed to connect all opportunities, integrating it with a single national job site and a scholarship portal via PMYP’s URL and Mobile Application.

Shaza Fatima said on a policy level, we are working on national youth employment strategy that aims to add two million jobs.

The Special Assistant said Pakistan looks forward to participating in several events this year, especially as host of the next Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting.
