Farukh Habib moves LHC against his possible arrest

LAHORE – January 31 (ONLINE) Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday sought record of cases registered against PTI leader Farukh Habib in Faisalabad and Sheikhupura, in a case pertaining to Farukh Habib’s petition against
Punjab police’s alleged harassment and his possible arrest.

According to details, the Lahore High Court on Tuesday heard Farukh Habib’s plea and sought the complete record of cases registered against PTI leader from the CPO Faisalabad and DPO Sheikhupura.

At the outset of hearing, Farukh Habib’s lawyer argued that FIRs were registered against former state minister on political grounds. Abuzar
Salman Niazi argued that respective Trial Courts had granted bail to Farukh Habib but the police was still ‘harassing’ PTI leader.

Farukh’s lawyer told court that unknown cars keep tracing Farukh Habib. He argued that the court must refrain police from arresting his client.
