LAHORE – President of Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has stressed the need for political harmony in the country saying that it was imperative in the existing situation.
“The need for political harmony has never been felt as much as is being realised today”, he said while talking to Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal who called on the Chaudhry cousins here on Tuesday at their residence.
Ch Salik Hussain, Ch Shafay Hussain, Senator Manzoor Kakar and Jan Jamali were also present.
Balochistan chief minister praised the good work done by Ch Parvez Elahi in his tenure as the chief minister. In this regard, he specifically mentioned the creation of Rescue 1122 department, an initiative taken by Ch Parvez Elahi and said that this idea had been replicated in his province also.
Jam Kamal made an offer to Ch Shujaat Hussain that his government could arrange the upcoming national Kabaddi matches in Gwadar. Ch Shujaat accepted the offer terming it a good idea.
Jam Kamal inquired after the health of the PML president describing him as a national asset. He also prayed for his good health. He said he had personal relations with the Chaudhry brothers and this relation will remain intact in the days to come.
