Care taker governments be set up in centre, provinces, political parties to sit together to settle date: Siraj ul Haq

ISLAMABAD, APRIL 20 (ONLINE): JI Amir Siraj ul Haq has said simultaneous and not separate election should be held in the country.

“The most important issue in the country is when election should be held.

It is better election are held at the same time in the country. The constitution is not so weak that it will stand abolished due to differences over election. he said this while talking to media men outside Supreme Court (SC) here Thursday.

“We want to participate in such election where there is no rigging. The separate elections should not take place in the country. It is better they are held at the same time, he observed.

He went on to say that outcome of holding separate election will lead the nation to difficulties. National economy is deteriorating due to political chaos and constitutional crisis.

He held the political instability is impacting the institutions and poor people adversely. People have run out of food sources.

The internal conflicts of the politicians are badly affecting the people.

He remarked “election is not issue of any one political party. We want such a date which is acceptable to all.

He said we sincerely propose care taker governments should be installed in centre and provinces and political parties should sit together and settle date for election.
