Another constitutional petition filed against Imran Khan long march in SC

ISLAMABAD, NOV 09 (Online): Another constitutional petition has been filed against Imran Khan long march in Supreme Court (SC).

The petition has been filed by Senator Kamran Murtaza taking the plea PTI violated the assurance given to SC on May 25. PTI held hostage by staging dharna in red zone in 2014. During 2014, PTI attacked parliament PTV and public secretariat. PTI once again IS brining long march in Islamabad.

He said Imran Khan is giving Long march name of Jehad. Imran Khan wants clash with the institutions through long march.

The petitioner has prayed in the petition federation and provinces be ordered that basic rights of people are not affected during long march. The public meeting of long march participants should be held outside Islamabad population. Federation and provinces should ensure that PTI rally or dharna does not continue for indefinite period. PTI be ordered to adhere to laws and parameters of protest.

The federation, four provinces, Imran Khan and PTI have been made respondents in the petition.
