ISLAMABAD, Nov 09 (Online): The appeal plea filed by dissident members of PTI against Election Commission (EC) decision came up for hearing in Supreme Court (SC).
The dissident members changed their lawyer for giving arguments on appeal pleas.
The court while giving time to newly nominated lawyer for preparation of case adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
A 3-meber bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) took up the case for hearing Wednesday
Umar Salim counsel for the PTI dissident members told the court he was appointed as counsel on last night.
The CJP Umar Ata Bandial while welcoming Umar Aslam remarked new members have been elected after disqualification of dissident members.
The CJP while addressing Umar Aslam remarked we give you time for preparations. Interesting question has to be reviewed in the matter.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case for indefinite period.
