ISLAMABAD, March 17 (Online): Pakistan while welcoming the restoration of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia has said “we are desirous of peace in the region and we will fully support the steps on restoration of peace.
“The nuclear program matter is not on the agenda with any financial institution. No comments can be offered on the speculations regarding nuclear program. We are concerned over rise in heinous crimes against the Muslims in India and Europe. The remarks from chief minister Karnatak are creating negative impact. The harassment and illegal detention of Kashmiri leadership should come to end, this was said by Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Ms Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in a weekly press briefing here Friday.
She pointed out that the visit of foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to Mauritania has been completed. Foreign minister handed over the president ship of OIC Foreign Ministers Council to Mauritania. The issues of Kashmir and Palestine were highlighted. The Afghan situation also came under discussion. Foreign Minister (FM) attended the meeting of OIC contact group for Kashmir.
FM Bilawal Bhutto Zardari represents Pakistan at international level. He talks of Kashmir, Islamophobia and stance of Pakistan.
She held Pakistan envoy to Austria has been elected as Assistant Secretary General (ASG) for Science and Technology of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for next five years term.
State minister for foreign affairs Hina Rabbani Khar participated in meeting of Common Wealth in London.
Replying to a question, she said Pakistan and China are all weather strategic cooperative partners. China is consistent and generous steadfast friend of Pakistan for the last several decades.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said China has invested in various sectors in Pakistan including power, energy and CPEC when nobody was ready to invest in Pakistan. She said we are grateful for Chinese friends for their consistent commitment for CPEC.
The matter of Chinese loan was presented out of context in the media. Pakistan and China make consultations with each other on every matter.
