Consul General Hussain Muhammad on Tuesday inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the 50th edition of Middle East Energy 2026, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 1 to 3.
Middle East Energy is one of the region’s leading energy exhibitions, bringing together more than 35,000 energy professionals and attendees, 1,900 international exhibitors and participants from over 150 countries.
Organized under the auspices of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the Pakistan Pavilion features five Pakistani companies showcasing their products, expertise and innovative solutions in key energy transition sectors, including power generation, grids and transmission, energy storage and energy management.
Hussain Muhammad expressed pride in Pakistan’s growing presence in the international energy market, saying the participation of five Pakistani companies under TDAP provided an important opportunity to showcase the country’s capabilities in smart energy solutions, renewable technologies and power infrastructure.
He noted that the presence of Pakistani products reflected the country’s potential as a competitive player in the global energy sector. He emphasized that participation in international exhibitions helps Pakistani companies explore new business opportunities, establish links with global partners and strengthen Pakistan’s footprint in international markets.
The Consul General thanked the UAE authorities, particularly the Dubai World Trade Centre, for their facilitation and appreciated the efforts of the Commercial Section of the Consulate in making Pakistan’s participation in the exhibition a success.
He assured the participating companies of the Consulate’s full support, visited their stalls and interacted with their representatives.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, Counsellors M. Haroon Chaudhry and Muhammad Saleh, Chairman Pakistan Business Council Dubai Shabbir Merchant, representatives of participating Pakistani companies and other guests.
