ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday expressed his deep grief over the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“Deeply saddened by the passing of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. His long years of service to Dubai’s security and development, and his contribution to the UAE Armed Forces, will be long remembered,” the DPM/FM posted on his X handle.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, and on his personal behalf, the DPM/FM extended heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al-Maktoum family and the people of Dubai and UAE.
He also prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and bless the bereaved family with patience.
