KABUL Sep 30 (Online): United States special representative to Afghanistan Thamos West has supported Pakistan opinion on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) actions in Pakistan.
According to international news agencies, Thamos West expressed his views in seminar in Stimson centre and said that TTP is severe threat to regional peace.
He said increase was witnessed in TTP attacks on Pakistan soil. Whoever is aware of this region is aware that TTP were fighting in support of Afghani Taliban after they were pulled out of Afghanistan.
Afghan Taliban and TTP are on same page in operational and financial cooperation, he added.
Afghan Taliban provides logistic support to TTP, Thamos West also commended Pakistan efforts for regional peace and said Pakistan always remained helper for regional peace and indentifying security issue he said Pakistan was also helping in Afghan refugees’ matters.
