LAHORE Oct 21 (Online): National team all-rounder Imad Wasim also criticized the captain Babar Azam for the defeat by Australia in the ICC World Cup.
In a TV interview, Imad Wasim pointed out that in the match against New Zealand in the year 2019, Babar Azam won the match for Pakistan, since then he has failed to win a match against any team, this is not a criticism but a fact.
He said that there is pressure on athletes in competitions during mega events but this is the place where you prove your worth by performing.
Imad Wasim said that Babar Azam is the number one batsman in the world ranking, it was his responsibility to stand on the wicket and give victory to the team and when he does not do that, questions will arise.
Earlier, the all-rounder opened up about his relationship with Babar Azam and said that there is no truth that there is animosity between us.
