ISLAMABAD, Nov 16 (Online): State minister for information Farrukh Habib has said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has for the first time in Pakistan reduced sales tax on petrol from 17 percent to Nil while petroleum products price world wide has soared.
He tweeted on Tuesday “ government suffered its tax income to the tune of billion of rupees by providing public relief despite spike in the prices of petroleum products at international level.
He held PML-N used to levy more taxes despite curtailment in prices of petroleum product in the world market.
