Islamabad-October 24 (Online): As many as 18 people lost their lives and 591 tested positive during last 24 hours in the country.
As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) latest data 43,522 corona virus tests were conducted during the last 24 hours of which 591 returned positive. Tally of positive cases has soared to 1,268,536.
The positivity stands at 1.35 percent. As per province wise details 467,425 coronavirus cases have reported in Sindh, 438,989 in Punjab, 177,440 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,679 in Islamabad, 34,435 in Azad Kashmir, 33,185 in Balochistan and 10,383 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The tally of fatalities has surged to 28,377 with the current deaths of 18.
1,216,242 patients have recovered while 1,614 people are stated to be in critical condition.
