ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Secretary of Boards and Universities of Sindh, Muhammad Abbas Baloch, in a recent meeting at his office, extended his full support to Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) for the allocation of government land to build a regional campus in Hyderabad.
The meeting was attended by a delegation from AIOU led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood. During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Mehmood provided an overview of the university’s regional network throughout Sindh, with a particular focus on its outreach in remote areas and the educational services it offers.
Dr. Mehmood emphasized the need for support in securing land for the new Hyderabad campus. He was accompanied by Director General Regional Services, Dr. Malik Tauqir Ahmad Khan, and Director Admissions, Syed Zia ul Hassnain Naqvi, who were also involved in the discussions.
