Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI, Aug 12 :Shipping activity was reported at the port where eightships namely,Maersk Durban, MSC Elsa 3, Kouros Queen, Rhine, Golden Denise, Lusail, Jag Padma and Chang Han Run Hai scheduled to load/offloadContainers, Cement, Palm oil, Chemicals,LNG, Mogas and Coal, berthed at Qasim Container Terminal,Multi-Purpose Terminals, Liquid Terminal, Engro Terminal, Elengy Terminal, Oil Terminal and Bulk Terminal respectively during last 24 hours (.)Meanwhile another edible oil carrier Silver Orla also arrived at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim during the same period (.)
Atotal of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a container vessel MSC Elsa-3 left the port on Monday (today) morning, while two more ships, Golden Denise and Bateleur are expectedto sail on today afternoon(.)
A cargo volume of121,954tonnesexclusive imports, including containerized cargo carried in 982 Containers (TEUs) was handled at the port during last 24 hours (.)
There are four ships at outer anchorage of the port, out of them a container vessel MSC Nicole-X is expected to take berth at Container Terminal on Monday, 12thAugust -2024(.)
