Arrangements afoot to accord historic welcome to PM on his visit to home constituency

Islamabad (PID, AJK ) Arrangements were being finalized to accord a historic welcome to Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan on his upcoming visit to his home constituency-Bagh.

There has been a lot of excitement in the public, the main highway that leads to Bagh has been decorated with welcome banners and people are raring to receive their leader.

A grand welcome has been arranged for the Prime Minister on his arrival at Kohala, Dhirkot, Urja, Mang Bajri, Naumanpura and Bagh. During his stay at Bagh the prime minister after addressing a public gathering in the city is scheduled to attend the annual anniversary of Saheed Syed Khadim Hussain Gardezi on September 06.

He will visit the grave of Sardar Sagheer Chughtai and participate in the prayer ceremony and then meet with the local leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf at Sardar Palace Bangoien.

On September 7, the PM will visit Sardar Bagh Hussain’s residence to condole the latter’s demise.

Pertinently, the PM’s visit coincides with his completion of 100-day in the office. He is likely to make big announcements vis-à-vis the development of the area. During the short span of time, the PM has already laid a strong foundation for the development and prosperity of the liberated territory thereby taking historic initiatives.

The establishment of Rehmatul lil Alameen Authority and providing the provision of free electricity to mosques are the measures which are being highly appreciated by all and sundry. The PM has recently inaugurated Mirpur Dry Port that will prove to be a milestone in increasing income.

Increase in amount of Zakat from 3 thousand rupees to 36 thousand rupees per annum and increase in the subsistence allowance of post 1990s refugees are some of the landmark initiatives that the government under Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan have taken in a short period of time.

The Prime Minister’s decision to activate the Food Authority and the Board of Investment are being widely appreciated by the people.
