May 9 cases: Interim bail of sisters of chairman PTI, Asad Umar extended

LAHORE, Oct 16 (Online): Anti Terrorism Cour (ATC) has extended interim bail of PTI leader Asad Umar, sisters of chairman PTI Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan and others till October 31.

Judge Arshid Javed of ATC heard the interim bail of Asad Umar, sisters of chairman PTI and others in the cases registered against them in connection with May 9 incidents.

Police did not file record of the cases in the court during hearing of the case.
Counsel for Asad Umar said we have joined investigation. Only tell us this they have done what after joining the investigation by us.
The state counsel said investigation officer suffered heart attack. Therefore, we cannot produce record.

Counsel for Asad Umar said these people are making all others to suffer heart attack. It should be made binding on them to produce record on next date essentially.

The court summoned lawyers on next hearing for final discussion.

Later talking to media men Asad Umar said Pakistan is his own country of Nawaz Sharif. He should be here. He should be treated as per law.

He held PML-N is allowed to hold public meeting but PTI is not permitted to hold public meeting. Election commission should take notice of it. I have not met chairman PTI. There is no permission to meet him. All Pakistanis should raise voice in support of Palestinians.
The benefit of reduction of prices of petroleum products should go to people.
