Billions of rupees are being planned to spend for the wellbeing of the people of Azad Kashmir: Prime Minister AJK

KOTLI (PID) The Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that Kashmiri people have been offering tremendous sacrifices for the liberation of their mother land from Indian clutches and India will not be able to suppress the freedom movement launched by the people for attaining their fundamental right to self determination.

He was addressing the annual Urs Dua ceremony of Pir Syed Akram Hussain Shah Bukhari as the special guest here on Thursday.He said billions of rupees are being planned to spend for the development and wellbeing of the people of Azad Kashmir to turn the state into a welfare state.

He said that Azad Kashmir will be made a real base camp of the liberation movement and the government will utilize all its resources for the liberation of occupied Kashmir and for the uplift of the people of the state.

He paid rich tributes to the people of occupied Kashmir for their heroic struggle against Indian brute forces and also salutes to the sacrifices of the women, children and elders of Occupied Kashmir and assured the brothers of Occupied Kashmir that we will not leave them alone and people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are with them in their just struggle.

He said the Prime Minister of Pakistan is taking all possible steps for the welfare of the people and in accordance with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan government of Azad Kashmir is determined to address the problems of the people, bring the accountability process in place and establish merit and good governance in Azad Kashmir.

He said projects of billions of rupees are being launched including construction of water supply schemes and completions of road network to bring about socio economic changes in the lives of the people of the state.
