Wasim Akram pointed out Babar’s big mistake against South Africa

LAHORE Oct 28 (Online): Former captain Wasim Akram pointed out the big mistake of Pakistan captain Babar Azam in the match against South Africa.
Wasim Akram while speaking on a private TV program said that overall Babar Azam captained the match well.

He made good use of fast bowlers which also gave the team wickets but Babar Azam should not have given the 48th over to Nawaz, I don’t understand why Babar gave the over to Nawaz at that time.

Wasim Akram said that Babar Azam should have replaced Nawaz with Osama Mir at that time because Osama Mir could trouble the tail-enders with a gag or magic delivery.

It’s true that Usama’s first 3-4 overs didn’t go well but he bowled well and took two wickets while Nawaz lacked confidence and also dropped the ball over his shoulder which means his ball will go to the leg side.

The former captain praised Wasim Jr.’s bowling and said that Wasim Jr., who was playing his first match in the World Cup, bowled very well and troubled the Proteas batsmen.

We all know Wasim Jr has talent but he hasn’t got consistent opportunities while Haris Rauf also bowled well in the end.
