Australia unveils T20 squad for India tour after World Cup

MELBOURNE Oct 28 (Online): Cricket Australia has announced the T20 squad for the tour of India.

According to Cricket Australia, batsman Matthew Wade has been appointed as the captain of the Australian cricket squad.

The Australian team will play a series of five T20 matches after the World Cup in India.

The T20 series will be held in November and December and the Australian team will be led by Matthew Wade, with Steve Smith and David Warner also part of the squad. Ashton Agar is out of the squad due to injury, while Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Green will return home after the World Cup.

Apart from this, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will return home to prepare for the Test season.
