KARACHI, Oct 24 (ONLINE): Former Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said it is his appeal to the present and coming government to abolish NAB as Job of NAB is only keeping the politicians under pressure.
He said this while talking to media men after appearing in Karachi Accountability Court Tuesday.
He held NAB job is connecting and disconnecting the politicians. What is requirement of justice and where justice has gone, is not seen by any one. It is bad luck. What injustice is done here has no parallel in the judicial history.
He went on to say NAB has paralyzed the country. Today is 5th year that this case is running. I come to court repeatedly but nothing is done. Five years have passed but only next date is given.
He demanded cameras be got installed in the courts so that people could see what is done in the court. Several judges have been transferred from the court but our case is where it was.
He remarked if politicians, judiciary and military leadership sit together then the problems facing the country will stand resolved.
I am part of PML-N, he said adding I will not resign from party, he underlined.
