ISLAMABAD, Oct 05 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed interior ministry to seek report from subordinate law enforcement agency on the petition in connection with recovery of Sadaqat Abbasi.
The petition seeking recovery of PTI leader Sadaqat Abbasi came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice Aamir Farooq here Thursday.
Junior lawyer to counsel Babar Awan appeared in the court.
State counsel Zohaib Gondal appeared in the court.
The CJ IHC inquired where is Sadaqat Abbasi?
State counsel said we have written letter to law enforcement agency but no reply has so far come from them.
The court directed interior ministry to seek report from subordinate law enforcement agency.
The CJ IHC Aamir Farooq remarked interior ministry should obtain report from subordinate institutions till next hearing and inform the court.
The hearing of the case was adjourned.
