Court approves bail plea of accused involved in looting former KP finance minister through SMS

ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted bail to the accused involved in committing fraud of millions of rupees with Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan former finance minister of KP.

A single bench of IHC led by Justice Sardar Ejaz took the bail plea for hearing Wednesday.

Assistant Attorney General (AAG) Hafiz Ahmad Rashid and FIA personnel appeared in the court. The lawyers of the accused persons also appeared in the court.
The court issued orders for releasing the accused persons on bail being the involvement of accused persons in crimes carrying punishment less than 10 years.

The court was informed that former finance minister Nawabzada Mohsin Ali Khan was told about his larger prize on mobile through SMS. Against the temptation of prize he transferred million of rupees to mobile of accused Anwar and others which were mentioned in SMS.

When he contacted for prize, the accused closed their numbers. Upon it case was registered against the accused persons last year under cyber crime law in Islamabad. He is settled in Islamabad at present.
The investigation was made after registration of case.

FIA said net work of the accused persons has been traced and they have been arrested. Only one and half lac rupees have been recovered.

The court while expressing wonder inquired from former provincial finance minister “you have worked wonder. Young boys of today kept on looting you. You were deceived by them and you lost million of rupees.

Assistant Attorney General (AAG) told the court all the money has been looted by the accused through apps of different mobile network. Former finance minister remained ignorant and he kept on sending money.
