LAHORE, Oct 02 (Online): DIG operations and DIG Investigation have tendered unconditional apology to the court on contempt of court plea against arrest of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi despite Lahore High Court (LHC) orders.
The petition filed by Qaisra Elahi came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by justice Sultan Tanvir here Monday.
IG Islamabad, DIG Operation Lahore and DIG Investigation filed reply in the court.
The plea has been taken in the reply filed by Lahore police that Pervaiz Elahi was arrested by Islamabad police. Judicial magistrate of Islamabad issued arrest warrants of Pervaiz Elahi while no ill intent was behind the matter of Pervaiz Elahi.

Justice Sultan Tanvir remarked I have to go to special division bench. Further hearing of the case cannot take place. If time is left then the hearing of the case will occur.
