QUETTA, Sep 09 (APP): Dr. Hayat Kakar, the first kidney transplant surgeon of Balochistan and the fourth kidney transplant surgeon of the country has performed the first-ever successful kidney transplant operation at Balochistan Institute of Nephro- Urology, Quetta (BINQ).
According to details, Dr. Hayat Kakar received his degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Kidney Bladder and Renal Tract Diseases and obtained his FCPS degree from the Sindh Institute of Urology (SIUT).
After successfully obtaining a degree in the field of kidney transplantation, he named the title of being the fourth kidney transplant surgeon in Pakistan and the first in Balochistan.
Earlier, the Balochistan Institute of Nephro-Urology had to invite a team from outside to perform kidney transplantation
and they were paid Rs one to two million.
